Exploring our Beautiful Country of Canada

It’s impossible to resist the natural charm of this jewel of Côte-Nord, Quebec

This Island is a World Heritage Site with amazing scenery, fossils, waterfalls, beaches, and lots of hiking trails. The White-Tailed Deer are adorable and Foxes are gentle and curious. A Gem of an Island....great fishing and I read Antcosti boasts the most famous salmon river in the WORLD! The island is bigger than PEI, has one town of 200+ people, mostly French, and the rest is woods, lakes, rivers, and gravel roads. Popular excursions to Kalamazoo Falls, Canyon Observation, Vaureal by the sea, Baie de la Tour can be booked in advance.

It's an island of adventure, spectacular scenery, and fascinating history. There is also there is an unofficial white-tail deer sanctuary that is also a paradise for nature lovers, you can explore a cave, see stunning canyons and swim in crystal-clear waters.

Port-Menier is the only village on the island and the only place where the roads are paved. This small village houses 200 residents with many great stories to tell if you have time to listen. Stories about of their Eco museum with old photos and Anticosti's once-famous landmark Chateau Menier, a luxurious villa dating back to the 19th century, but in 1953 a fire destroyed the Chateau and shortly after the reconstructed but keeping the castle's foundations.

Anticosti is a gem in St.Lawrence and is home to many treasures that are worth seeing! The Vaureal Falls is a great place to start, they are 76 meters (250 feet) high. A great way to see the waterfall actually a breathtaking view from the canyon. Strange shapes are sculpted into the canyon's towering walls recall the monoliths of the Mingan Archipelago. This is an open-air geological library with millions of years etched into the rocks. In good weather, the hike across rocky terrain leading to the falls (which takes about three hours round trip) is an unforgettable experience.

Caves:

Grotte a la Patate (Potato Cave), one of two accessible caves on the island, located near Lake Genevieve. The longest cave in Quebec, Grotte a la Patate is 625 meters (2050 feet deep) which is 580 meters (1900 feet) that you have to explore. You will start your exploration by standing up, then crawling. If you are claustrophobic, I'd skip this adventure!

Travel Tips:

The tip this week is booking groups.

Since so many families, friends, special interests groups have not been able to get together for a very long time, more than 60% of people looking to travel together, I can say, I have ever seen so many groups in all my years of being a travel expert.

So, what kind of travel is everyone booking?

Mostly all-inclusive, customized tours, small group travel, cruising.

Destinations of interest at the moment are:

Costa Rica, Mexico, Jamaica, Tahiti, Antigua, Peru.

When are people looking to travel, starting in February 2022/2023.

When should I start working on my group?

Now is a good time, there are so many great promotions out at the moment that will be ending on June 30th, 2021.

If you are looking to travel next year (2022) then I would highly recommend that we start working on it now because as of mid-Aug the pricing will start to rise very quickly.

Future travel for 2023 is open as well.

Contact me, and let's work together!

How many people do I need to create a group?

On average, 5 rooms, 10 people (adults, children don't count) depending on what type of group travel you are interested in.

The number of rooms & people may change.

Add yourself to one of my groups:
